I was just thinking of something new for a birthday party, that instead of asking for written birthday messages, I would like to try this finger prints with name of the attendees.

We actually did something very similar to this, except with a family tree. Everyone did their thumbprint and name next to it; it's currently hanging in the house.

That's a wonderful idea! WHen we have a family reunion, the family tree poster is on the wall and we fill in anybody new. It would be great to do your thumbprint tree, at least with the kids.

This is such a neat idea. Though, I think I'll adapt it to be the house from UP! We love that movie so much in my house.
