Nautical Silhouette Watercolor Art
Let your kids feel like they're at the beach, even if you live miles from the shore, with this Nautical Silhouette Watercolor Art. An introduction to watercolor, this summer craft idea is great for all ages. As long as your kids can finger-paint, they will love this kids craft project. This finger-painting craft for kids lets your children create silhouettes with nautical-themed shapes, such as lobsters, dolphins, and seashells. This project encourages kids to get hands-on experience (literally) with watercolor painting, so it's a great craft idea for kids just learning to paint. Go under the sea with these bright colors and nautical silhouettes.

This technique is really clever and looks so professional! It teaches kids cause and effect and also neatness! For a similar project but a bit more definition, you could add some features by gluing colored sand in ridges to define areas, or add some sea shells, blue and green glass beads, or some tiny little pearls with strong craft glue, if the kids are old enough to handle it, or with assistance. Such a pretty craft!

I've been looking for personal artwork to put on our gallery wall, but nothing has really spoke to me before these. I love these for the spring and summer! You could easily switch these out for more seasonal things once the season changes, too.
