Sugar Wash Painting Project
If your children love to paint, have them try out this Sugar Wash Painting Project. Instead of spending all that money on paints at the craft store, all you'll need is sugar and food coloring, and you've got your own homemade wax-resistant paints. The children can do wax crayon painting without that yucky paint cleanup afterwards. They can draw whatever designs in crayon they want and watch the sugar paint outline their beautiful artwork. This is a fun summer craft to do out on the back porch in the sun, and the kids will have a blast!
