That is really cute and something my 7 year old granddaughter would take a lot of pride in. Why not used it to cover a store-bought night light? I don't think the 15 or 25 watt light would put off too much heat. What do you think?

Instead of using a flashlight, why not use an electric tea light? That way, you can leave the lantern on for quite a while. This is a really cute idea! Thanks for sharing it with us.
