I love how easy and how cute these ornaments are! I have a stash of popsicle sticks I can use, and of course, I have lots of ribbon. I have some solid colors and several Christmas prints. I wish this could be a pre-school craft project, but those little ones can't tie yet.

This ornament is too precious! My favorite Christmas tradition is watching all the classic Christmas movies: "It's a Wonderful Life", "White Christmas", "Christmas in Connecticut"---I love them all!

Cute ornament! My favorite Christmas tradition actually involves an ornament. In Germany, it's tradition to hide a green pickle ornament on the Christmas tree. When everyone wakes up, the first person to find the pickle gets an extra present! It's fun to do for the kids.

My family has a lot of fun traditions! Every year we watch Christmas Vacation together, have a very silly white elephant gift exchange, and do a mystery beer or wine tasting. It's always so much fun!

My favorite tradition is having a giant feast of rack of lamb on Christmas Eve with my whole family--aunts, uncles, and cousins included. Love it!

My sister and I would drag out a mattress to our living room and spend the entire Christmas day watching Christmas movies. Still some of my favorite memories!

My favorite family tradition is watching It's a Wonderful Life on Christmas Eve! That movie never fails to make me thankful for the life I have.

Love love love watching A Charlie Brown Christmas with the family every year. We also always go to a favorite restaurant for Christmas Eve dinner, and my dad's family has been doing this for 35 years!!

I love baking Christmas cookies with my mom. We can never make too many!

I feel like once I started attaching ribbons, I'd never stop. And then the whole thing would just be one giant pile of bows. (Which isn't a bad thing...) My favorite tradition is watching National Lampoon's Christmas Vacation with the extended family and quoting it all the way through.

My favorite Christmas tradition is making and eating Christmas candy. We have an unheated back porch and the candy just chills out there during December, easy to snag a piece or two coming in the door!

I would have loved this when I was a kid. It's so easy but so customizable.

My favorite Christmas tradition is watching Miracle on 34th Street with my family. We always watch it about a week or two before Christmas and then we each get to open one present. When I was younger, I couldn't wait until the movie was over, because I really just wanted to get to the presents!

My favorite Christmas tradition is baking Christmas cookies with my family. We set aside one day and bake, bake, bake! This year we made spritz cookies, gufflets, Italian taralli cookies, crinkle cookies, and white chocolate pretzel rings.

My favorite tradition is going out to get our live tree then having a night full of laughter and fun as we decorate it. Each member of my family has a specific "task" when it comes to the tree, so it always goes down without a hitch!

This is such a cute craft project! I'm going to suggest it to my Mom for her 3rd grade classroom.

This is so cute! Looks really simple for even really little kids. Time to get out the Popsicle sticks!

My favorite tradition is decorating the tree and the house! I'm the only one who actually likes doing it, so I have to make my family participate, but in the end it's good fun for all.

This is such a cute idea. I am totally going to bring the supplies to try it out with my little cousins on Xmas eve at our big family party. Maybe it will keep them busy for a bit instead of running around! ) Thanks for sharing.

Make sure you save them. It'll be fun to see them hanging on the tree and remembering this moment twenty years from now.

That's such a good idea, GrumpyCat4Prez. 3

my favorite tradition is Christmas eve after the kids have finally gone to sleep. Three generations are gathered together to finish wrapping presents, putting together the gifts that Santa brought and "dictating/transcribing" the letters that Santa and Mrs Claus leave for the kids. the night is full of giggles, goofiness, and good food and wine. we started this almost 20 years ago on a smaller scale when my babies were little and it has been honed and refined into the tradition it is today. the best traditions are those made by a loving family that will go onto the next generations.

My favourite Christmas tradition is to have the grand children over for a supper and game night so that Mom and Dad can go out to dinner and just relax for a few hours.

they are so cute

Love making Xmas ornaments and giving them away

My favorite Christmas tradition is giving gifts to my friends and family. I love the process of finding the perfect gift and seeing their happy face when they open it.

This is perfect for all those tiny scraps of ribbon!
