I used to make pinwheels all the time as a kid. I don't know if I ever got mine to spin though. So, I'm loving the detail in the tutorial about adding the bead and using erasers. I'm wondering if I can use the template to cut the shapes out of scrapbook paper? These will be great decorations for an upcoming Eagle Scout ceremony.

Pinwheels are so much fun for everyone. These would be great for the kids to make and take to the park when we go to see the fireworks on 4th of July this year. The only thing I have to do is print many copies of the patriotic pinwheel pattern so that the kids can make some for their friends as well!
