Fall Craft Tissue Paper Leaves

"Celebrate the beauty of fall leaves and work on eye hand coordination by making tissue paper leaves! The best part of this craft is that you can use items you already have around the house! To make tissue paper leaves, you need: our free fall leaf printables, tissue paper in fall colors, white glue, and scissors. If you have string or ribbon and a hole punch, you can even use the leaves to make a beautiful DIY fall leaf banner! "

Materials List

  • Our free fall leaf printable
  • Tissue paper in fall colors
  • White glue
  • Scissors

Instructions

  1. Print out the leaves and cut out the ones that you want. Enlarge them by 200% on your printer.

  2. Cut or tear tissue paper into squares.

  3. Apply white glue to a small section of one of the leaves.

  4. Crumple squares into a ball. For older kids use smaller squares, while younger kids will do better with larger tissue paper pieces.

  5. Press the crumpled paper into the glue. Get creative and use multiple colors if you like.

  6. If you have string, ribbon, and a hole punch, you can string these leaves into a beautiful garland!
