Wow I never would have thought to make glowing rainbow rice. I could look at this for a long time and a great way to have some family fun by making it and making up games or things to do with it. It is so very cheap to make and simple to do. This would also be a great pre-k or kindergarten class project.

The instructions for this craft are very clear and extremely easy to make! I have never had my own kids or students play with rice before, but I could see where it might be a fun way to teach measuring and volume comparisons... Like which cup has more, less, how much is one cup, etc. But I would have to make sure the broom or vac was near! Fun and pretty too!
