Materials List
- Duck Tape®
- Scissors or craft knife
- Floral wire
- Wire cutters
- Pen
- Thick wire or dowel rod
- Crafting board
Instructions
-
Using a 4 in. long piece of Duck Tape®, cut out a right triangle that is 2 in. wide and 4 in. long.
-
Roll the triangle onto the top of your thick wire or dowel rod to create the middle of the flower.
-
Cover the rest of the thick wire or dowel rod in Duck Tape®, using the color or print you want for the stem of the flower.
-
Cut 2 pieces of Duck Tape® for your large petal. Overlap them slightly and lay them sticky side up.
-
Place floral wire in the middle of the Duck Tape® piece. Make sure the floral wire is the same length as your Duck Tape® sheet.
-
Cut 2 more pieces of Duck Tape® and place them on top so that the wire is sandwiched in between the Duck Tape®.
-
Draw a large tear drop on the Duck Tape® while trying to keep the floral wire in the middle of the tear drop.
-
Cut your tear drop out using your scissors. This will be the large petal.
-
Wrap the petal around the middle, making a cup shape. Secure with a small piece of Duck Tape® at the base of the flower. Bend your petal to form any shape you want, too.
-
Repeat these instructions with other Duck Tape® prints and colors to make your own unique Duck Tape® calla lily bouquet.

These lovely calla lilies are simple enough that even young children can make them, especially if an adult precuts the tape and helps them move from one step to the next. This project has fantastic written and photo instructions. The 3-D flowers are really quite pretty who would think they are made from duct tape?
