    • Craft foam
    • Feathers
    • Fabric
    • Plastic animals
    • Animal flash cards
    • Basket or bin

    Sensory Activity for Kids

    Sensory Activity Zoo: Exploring Animal Textures

    1. Gather supplies

    2. Add craft foam and fabric to the bottom of bin

    3. Add feathers to the bin

    4. Add plastic animals to the bin

    5. Line flash cards along edges of bin, or place near bin.

    6. Guide children in using the animal flash cards to identify animals and the matching textures in the bin.
