Towering Tin Can Mummy
Once you pop, you know you can't stop, so you probably go through your Pringles pretty quickly. Instead of tossing the container each time, use it to make a Towering Tin Can Mummy. Before you know it, you'll have an entire army of mummy men ready for Halloween. These adorable mummies are perfect as window displays or treat containers. Make these Halloween crafts for kids in minutes and at low to no cost. Real mummies may be scary, but these guys are friendly, fun, and silly as can be.
Materials:
- Empty Pringles can
- Construction paper: white, tan and black
- 2 googly eyes
- Scissors
- Glue stick
- White craft glue
Instructions:
1. Cut a rectangle from the black paper (approximately 2" x 4") and use glue stick to attach to the front of the Pringles can, toward the top. Use white craft glue to attach the eyes to the black rectangle.
2. Cover the remaining can and all but a small area of black that has the eyes on it, with tan construction paper using a glue stick. note: The tan paper is used to hide the label of the Pringles can that would normally show through the white paper. This step is optional and purely for aesthetic purposes.
3. Tear white paper into strips. Use a glue stick to attach the white strips around the can until all the tan paper is covered.
