Meaghan Mountford, The Decorated Cookie
Meaghan Mountford accidentally stumbled into a cookie-decorating career fifteen years ago when she started working at a just-opened cookie shop. She spent the next decade in that shop decorating cookies while earning her Masters degrees in Literature and Liberal Arts. She will turn any dessert into edible art, but she is especially fond of decorated cookies, painted marshmallows, and sweets on sticks. Her first book, Cookie Sensations, was published in 2007. Her second book, Sugarlicious: 50 Cute and Clever Treats for Every Occasion, was published in early 2012. She writes the blog, The Decorated Cookie, and she’s the Edible Crafts editor for CraftGossip.com.
