Neon Lips Tote Bag
The teens are going to love toting their things around in a bag with bright neon lips on it. The Neon Lips Tote Bag is the perfect after school project for your teens and tweens. This is an easy kids' craft that packs a bold graphic punch, and the girls are going to have so much fun making it. They might even like to do this teen craft project as a slumber party activity. This tutorial shows them how to paint a tote bag with ease. They are going to love coming up with the color combinations, and making a one-of-a-kind tote bag that screams CHIC!
Materials:
- Aleene's® Repositionable Spray™
- Tulip® Electric Neons Dye Kit™
- Lip Stencil
- Disposable plastic table cover
- Cardboard cut to fit inside bag
- Spray bottles – enough for amount of colors you are going to use
- White cotton tote bag
Instructions:
- Wash and dry tote bag.
- Cut cardboard to fit snugly inside bag to create stable painting surface and to prevent dye from bleeding through to back.
- Lightly spray back of lips stencil with Repositionable Tacky Spray and place on bag front, pressing into position.
- Pour desired dye colors into spray bottles.
- Place tote on covered work surface and lightly spray colors over stencil, allowing dye to dry in between coats. Repeat until desired effect is achieved.
- Remove stencil and let tote to dry thoroughly.
