Oh my these walnut baby ornaments are the cutest things I have ever seen and I cannot believe how easy they are to make. What a great project to do with small kids or even as a family project. Wooden bead for the head, pipe cleaner for the babies body and some fabric or felt scrap for the blanket, a walnut shell for the bed and you have this cute ornament for your tree. Add a ribbon for hanging on the tree. Super easy. This will be ornament for next year.

My oldest son made me one of these when he was in grade school, except his was a sleeping mouse. It is still one of my most treasured ornaments and is hung every year. As long as you can get walnut shell halves that are in tact, this is a very easy project to make.
