Native American Rain Makers
Native American Rain Makers are a great way to help kids remember their history lessons about Native American culture. Little anthropologists will love to make their own version of these phenomenal homemade musical instruments and kids crafts from recycled materials.

Super clever idea! This project suggests paper towel roll, but I could see using other cylindrical containers that already have a bottom and a cap. You would need to use nails that are longer of course in order to get the same sound effect. I would make sure both ends are super sealed by using a strong glue like 6000 so there are no safety issues....i think I would also glue in the nails at the has where'd the heads rest in the tube just to be sure! But this is a very fun project, and kids will love it!
