My kids loved printing with apples and I use it during my lessons with preschoolers to teach the colors in english. They love printing with brooccoli as well, since that gives the idea of making a forest. One time one of my kids try to draw butterflies from apple print. It was intresting to see the end result. We named itApplfly...

Printing with vegetables is great! I'm a retired ESL teacher, so I know what you're talking about! Also, if you cut the end chunk off a whole celery plant, it looks like a rose! It's good for Mother's Day paintnigs from their kids. You can use a precut paper shape for a vase and paint roses on top.
