I have not seen this idea in ages and have always liked it. When my kids were in Kindergarten they used to make these all the time. Since I knit a lot and crochet some, I always had leftover yarn I could give them to make them. The ropes always turned out so colorful and pretty. Thanks for sharing this. I always enjoy seeing good old techniques being shown again so they do not get forgotten. )

This is a pretty neat idea. I have needed rope before and it can be kind of expensive to buy, but I have tons of yarn and now can just make my own. This would be awesome to use for purse handles on my crocheted or knitted items if I need something stronger or a little different. I will definitely be trying this out. Thank you so much for sharing this tutorial.
