Embroidered Thread Hoop Earrings
We all have at least one pair of earrings that we still have, but we never wear anymore. Revamp your old jewelry with this Embroidered Thread Hoop Earrings craft. You can quickly and easily give them a trendy makeover. Your DIY earrings will suddenly be your new favorites when previously you had been meaning to throw them away. You can use any size or type of hoop earrings and any color of thread! This tutorial shows how to make thread earrings very simply. Warning: you might get addicted and wrap all of your earrings in embroidery thread!
Materials:
- Old hoop earrings
- Aleene's Tacky Glue
- Embroidery thread
Instructions:
1. Start by adding a dab of Tacky Glue to the hoop.
2. Place the end of the embroidery thread in the glue, hold it in place, and wrap it around the hoop to cover the desired area.
3. When you have finished covering the desired area, cut the thread and secure the end to the earring with a dab of glue.
4. Repeat for both earrings. Layer colors for different looks.
