Instructions
-
Select a colored paper for the skin tone of the Thor paper puppet. Select different colored papers for the costume of the Thor paper puppet. We’re using yellow paper for the hair, boots, and belt, red paper for the cape, light blue for the pants, dark blue for the shirt (including sleeves), white paper for the helmet wings, grey paper for the buttons, helmet and hammer; brown for the hammer handle; and the skin tone paper for the head and hand patterns. Trace and cut out the patterns.
-
Cut a slit along the yellow line inside the hair pattern and then slide the head through the slit, keeping the top part of the slit to the front of the head pattern. Attach the hammer base to the handle. Attach the shirt base on the top side of the pants pattern; attach the wing patterns on both sides of the helmet pattern and attach the hand patterns with the sleeve patterns.
-
Use a black gel pen or sharpie to trace outlines of the helmet and hammer crafts to give them a finished look.
-
Attach the belt cutout near the bottom side of the shirt base. Attach 2 buttons below the belt and 4 buttons over the belt.
-
Attach the boot patterns on the bottom parts of the pans and attach the helmet on the top side of the head pattern.
-
Use a sharpie to draw the eyes, nose, and mouth of the Thor papercraft puppet.
-
Attach the arms on both sides of the shirt base.
-
Attach the cape on the backside of the papercraft figure, keeping its top side below the head level.
-
Attach the paper hammer on the hand of the papercraft Thor figure.
