Moon Rock Science Experiment

"You can create cool moon rocks by combining baking soda, gold glitter, water, and black food coloring. We read some fun space books, created moon rocks, and then did a moon rock explosion. Create the moon rock explosion by adding vinegar to the moon rocks. The kids enjoyed this part the most. After the explosion was over they enjoyed playing with the soft mixture left behind. This was perfect for sensory play. The whole project is great for teaching kids about space!"
