Recycled Spoon Flower Art

Materials:
- 3 plastic spoons
- Paint: yellow and green
- Felt: pink, purple, blue, and green
- Pattern
- Sandpaper
- Scissors
- Hot glue gun
- Paintbrush
Instructions:
- Sand the shine off of the plastic spoons.
- Paint back side of the bowl of the spoon yellow and the handle green. Repeat for a second coat and allow to dry.
- Meanwhile, cut flowers from felt using the pattern provided.
- Cut a small hole near the bottom of the petals (see photo).
- Insert the spoon handle into the hole in the felt flower.
- Use hot glue to secure the spoon to the felt.
- Cut simple leaf shapes from green felt and glue to the front of the flower near the handle (stem).
